Luke Dye
Luke Dye is a writer-director based in the Central Florida area. His work has played in film festivals all across the world, including in Spain, Korea and India.
Since 2020 he has worked as a screenwriter and script-editor for Central Florida-based production companies, including Unity Films and Alpha Dog Productions.
In 2023, he collaborated with the Quintana Roo, Mexico, based nonprofit Tuumben K'ooben on a short documentary film titled "Dreamland", which is currently on the festival circuit.
Additionally, he was the first student to win the Tampa Bay Underground Film Festival Audience Choice Award for his short film "Admissions".
As a lifelong stutterer, Luke uses film to explore the different ways people express themselves to each other and the world around them.
